It was such a joy to photograph Claire and Handful’s wedding recently. They met a few years ago in Liberia when Claire was there on a mission trip. They fell in love and dated for 4 years. Once Handful was able to get his visa and come to America, the wedding was planned. They were originally going to get married in the spring, but there was a delay on getting Handful’s visa. Instead, they married on a gorgeous fall morning in late September.
The ceremony was held at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church in Littleton. That is where Claire and her family attend services and her father is even on staff there. The sanctuary is beautiful and the ceremony was very traditional and meaningful.
Claire and Handful had a “first look” before the ceremony outside of the church so we were able to get some couple shots of just the two of them before the wedding. My 2nd shooter, Danielle, was a big help and assisted me all day.
After the ceremony, the reception was held at Concordia on the Lake in their event center. They had several family and friends come into town from North Carolina. Handful and his friends also had secret handshakes and fun dance moves.
