I hadn’t seen Marcie and Tavin and their family for about 6-7 years, so I was excited to see them again! We met up last weekend at Marcie’s parent’s house. They live near Chatfield State Park and their backyard gets a beautiful view of the foothills at sunset.
Unfortunately, Marcie’s mom, Linda, was recently diagnosed with B-cell lymphoma and just started chemotherapy. She was feeling weak but summed up her strength for about 20 minutes of photos with her family. After Linda went inside to rest, we focused on getting photos of the rest of the crew. The four cousins enjoy hanging out with one another, so they played horseshoes in between photos.
It was a very fun evening!
