Most teenage boys are not big fans of getting their photos taken. Shocker, right?!
If the thought of a 60-90 minute senior portrait session sounds like torture to your teenager, don’t worry! I offer 20-minute mini sessions 10 months out of the year. The catch is that I do not offer them in September or October (my busy season) so if you are trying to meet a yearbook deadline, make sure you book a mini session when they are available November through August.
Twenty minutes is the perfect amount of time to capture their personality! I work fast and can usually coax some great smiles out of any surly teenager. 🙂

Another option if your teen is reluctant about their senior photos, is to book family photos at the same time as their senior photos. Sometimes having a sibling or parents around help them relax a bit and not feel like the center of attention. When you book their full senior session, you can add on family photos for an additional $75. Here are a few past examples where I met with both the senior and their family. It helps to “kill two birds with one stone” and get updated family photos at the same time as their senior portraits!
