David and Tina were in town visiting his brother’s family over the holidays. David’s two young kids, Jacob and Emma, were with them as well. David and Tina have been dating for four years, and he thought that this would be a perfect time to propose to her.
We met at Mt. Falcon park two days after Christmas while there was still snow on the ground. After about 15 minutes, I was taking photos of each couple alone. When David and Tina were taking their photos, I knew that David had a plan to get down on one knee so I had them stand back-to-back and “think of the best thing about the other person”. While Tina had her back turned, David got down on one knee. When she turned around, she was genuinely surprised and kept saying, “What is happening?!?!” It was so sweet! Everyone else was in on it so after David asked her to marry him, Jacob and Emma ran over to hug Tina and their dad!
We finished off the session with engagement photos and family photos. 🙂
