I have taken family photos for John and Lacey in the past so when Lacey’s mom reached out to book me for an extended family photo session, I was very excited! Extended family photos are some of my absolute favorites. It can be hard to get everyone together, but I think it is SO worth it!
I met with Gary, Kim, and the whole gang just before Halloween. Kim’s mother, Catherine, is in her early 90’s and joined us for the photos as well. A cold front was coming in that day, but everyone did great, and I loved the images we captured! Even 2-month-old baby Everett did amazing!
Writer’s Vista park was the perfect spot for this big extended family session. Since Catherine is wheelchair bound, we were able to stay on the sidewalk for most of the images and then move around a bit to the grass for the individual family photos. The six cousins also had a lot of fun hanging out together!
