Stephanie and Nick are new clients that I met with recently. I met them at Hildebrand Ranch park in Littleton for updated family photos with their 3 sons (Henry, Manning, and Steven). They also brought their energetic Weimaraner puppy, Roxie.
The leaves were still a pretty fall color and it was a mild night (not too hot and not too cold). Nick and Stephanie are originally from the Chicago area and I lived there for 8 years so we chatted about Illinois and how much better our Colorado weather is compared to the mid-west. 🙂
Since Roxie is still just a puppy and Weimaraner’s aren’t known for being calm dogs, she was a little wild during the session. But, at the end the family knew there would be one way to get her in a family photo–they huddled together and said, “Family hug!” Roxie knows that when they yell, “Family hug” that she can run up to them and jump up into the huddle. It was so cute and I love that last picture of their family hug together!
