Aubrey and her mom met with me last weekend for Aubrey’s senior photos. Aubrey had her heart set on South Valley park, but when we arrived it was pouring down rain. We could see light to the north of us so we drove down the road to the iconic Red Rocks Amphitheatre and it was clear there. The rain showers had just passed through so the ground was a bit wet and muddy. Aubrey was wearing light color pants and brand new white shoes so her mom, Vanessa, gave Aubrey a piggy back ride at the beginning of our session to keep her dry. Check it out! Talk about Mom Boss!
There was a concert going on at Red Rocks, but we arrived about 30 minutes before it was starting, and we parked down the hill away from the actual amphitheater. After about 30 minutes of photos at Red Rocks, we looked at our phone’s radar and it looked like the storms had passed down at South Valley so we drove back over there and got some more photos there.
Aubrey is a senior at Mountain Vista High School in Highlands Ranch. She is kind and smart and hoping to study something in the medical field next year after graduation.
I’m so thankful for flexible clients that are willing to trust me on locations and finding good spots. Colorado weather is so unpredictable, but 9 times out of 10 the rain will pass quickly and we get a beautiful, clear evening. Aubrey’s mom kept saying to me, “Thank you for a fun adventure tonight!” 🙂
