This was only my 2nd senior session with a horse, but I have another one scheduled for next week! It is always so fun to incorporate animals or pets into photos. Maya has been riding since she was little and has been riding Flipper for about 3 years at the Cottonwood Riding Club.
I met with Maya and her mom at the Carson Nature Center first. We took pictures there before heading over to the stable to get photos with Flipper in the field behind the riding club. It was a gorgeous evening in Colorado with a very pretty sunset.
Maya is a senior at Arapahoe High School and hopes to study neuroscience next year in college. She is quiet and shy, but very smart and sweet. Her and her family moved to Colorado from the Chicago area three years ago. I wish her all the best this year!
