It was wonderful meeting Dave, Anya, and Myla over Memorial Day weekend for updated family photos. We met at Morrison Park on a cloudy, but beautiful morning. Myla is two and was a bit leery of me at first. Eventually, we tricked her into several smiley shots, though. 🙂
I have had several sessions where the parents worry that we didn’t capture any “good” photos because the kid(s) were grumpy or crying or uncooperative. I have been doing this for almost 13 years and have many tricks up my sleeve. I can only count one time in those 13 years where we almost just needed to re-schedule the session since the little kid wasn’t having it. But, eventually even during that session, the little boy warmed up and we ended up getting great photos. Trust me and try your best not to stress if your children aren’t acting the way you had envisioned for photos. We can still capture sweet, fun, images that you will cherish years from now.
