I met Brett, Audra, and their 3 kiddos at a new (to me) location last weekend for a family photo session. They live out in Parker and mentioned wanting to meet at McCabe Meadows. I know of several other photographers that love that spot so I wanted to try it out! There is a river, a bridge, an open space area, and big trees that are just starting to change for fall. Unfortunately, we are in the midst of Homecoming Season here and there were about 30 high schoolers on the bridge that we needed to work around.
Ben, Adam, and JoJo are at the “cheese” phase right now where they give wide cheesy smiles and say, “C-H-E-E-S-E!”. I always try my best to play with my families to get natural smiles, but sometimes it is a hard habit for kids to break their “cheese” smiles. I remember doing this when I was little and both of my girls made these smiles for a time too. I hope that one day Brett and Audra can look back on this phase of their 4 and 6 year old kids and just laugh about this silly photo phase. JoJo is also into rolling her tongue or sticking it out a lot when she smiles. Despite the challenges, we still managed to get some cute photos of this adorable family!
