Mark and Krista will be celebrating 40 years of marriage next month. When they got married, they went to City Hall and Krista didn’t wear a traditional wedding dress so Mark took her measurements while she was sleeping and had a wedding dress made for her—-how sweet is that?
Krista was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis seventeen years ago and has been trying her best to beat this terrible disease ever since. She was having a really good day on Saturday when we met for photos. She was able to walk into the clubhouse where we met with Mark’s assistance instead of the use of her wheelchair.
We met in their townhome community clubhouse since it was a very cold day and that way Krista could sit down when she needed to. Her and Mark are the sweetest, most fun couple! Their love is so evident and I loved talking with them about what has made their marriage work. They told me stories about their life and raising their children. It was such a beautiful session!
