Drew’s parents and brother were in town visiting from Arizona for Christmas so Drew’s wife, Stacey, contacted me about scheduling an extended family photo session. Stacey was really hoping for snow, but Colorado wasn’t cooperating before Christmas and we had a dry, pretty evening at South Valley Open Space Park instead.
Callen and Ainsley were not super thrilled about photos at first, but they had fun with their grandparents, Uncle Glade (aka Gunk), and their grandparent’s dog, Rusty. We explored and made the session fun for all!
I have taken photos for the Zarn family a few times, but over the last year I have also bumped into Stacey, Callen, and Ainsley at the karate dojo that they attend with my youngest daughter. We had to get one or two shots of them doing some karate moves at the end of our session to show off their EMA skills! 🙂
This was my last session of 2021 and I couldn’t have asked for a better ending to my photography year! I have loved photographing so many AMAZING families over the last year! I have invested in some new camera gear and online courses so I look forward to what 2022 will bring with my business!
