This session was very special for me. I knew Joe about 20 years ago when my husband and I were in the same home church as him and his wife, Aimee. Aimee and I were close friends and dealt with infertility issues at the same time. We had our oldest daughters four months apart and used to do a lot of playdates with Grace and Brianna. After Aimee had her son, Aiden, she was diagnosed with breast cancer. She passed away when Brianna was six years old and Aiden was only four. I lost touch with Joe until about 5 years ago. He and Heather have been married for over 5 years and have added Mikaela and Everett to their brood. It is such a joy seeing him so in love with Heather and seeing her being an AMAZING mom to her four kids. Mikaela is so full of spunk and little Everett is simply ADORABLE!
We all met up at Writer’s Vista Park on a beautiful fall morning. The leaves were just starting to turn and the kids all did great! I loved so many of these images and loved seeing how much Bri and Aiden have grown. Brianna walked along with me at the beginning of our session and was telling me about high school, her boyfriend, and playing on the volleyball team. Aiden runs on the middle school cross country team and is a very smart dude. Aimee would be so stinking proud of her two awesome big kids!!!!
