It was so great to see Madi and her mom, Amy, a few weeks ago. Our families used to go to the same church together and we have several mutual friends in common. The last time I saw Madi she was only around 11 or 12 so it was fun to see the young woman she has grown up into. She is smart and very personable.
We met at the Carson Nature Center and took advantage of the beautiful sunflowers. We also witnessed a stunning sunset as we wandered along the South Platte River.
Madi is a senior at Arapahoe High School and is thinking of possibly going to college in the Pacific Northwest next year. I know she will go far in life, and I wish her all the best!
