This family photo session had it all—-rain, wind, and me falling down! I was so embarrassed, but thankfully my ankle (and my camera) were ok. Besides all of those hiccups, I had a great time meeting this new family for updated family photos recently.
I met Alison, Brian, Parker, and Caden on a cloudy Tuesday evening and about 5 minutes into our session, the skies opened up and big raindrops started falling. We could see blue skies so we just waited in our cars for about 5 minutes and thankfully the freak summer storm passed. However, it did bring some wind with it so I had to angle Alison nestled into her tall husband to block the wind from blowing her hair—ha! It worked great and after another 5 minutes, the wind calmed down and there were no more weather issues for our session. 🙂 There was just my ankle turning out of the blue and me falling down on some steps and knocking my camera, but besides hurting my pride, all was fine.
